No. If anything, they probably miss the feeling of having a man to sleep with at night no different than a man misses having a woman to keep his bed warm. It is what it is. We usually hug our pillows because like a safety blanket it gives us comfort. And sometimes it's a sign of insecurity and a hidden sign of depression.

I do hug my pillow at night, but I don't pretend it's a guy. It's just comfortable. I've also wrapped my legs around pillows, stuck my feet inside my pillowcases (because it's nice and cool, lol), etc.
