No. If anything, they probably miss the feeling of having a man to sleep with at night no different than a man misses having a woman to keep his bed warm. It is what it is. We usually hug our pillows because like a safety blanket it gives us comfort. And sometimes it's a sign of insecurity and a hidden sign of depression.

I do hug my pillow at night, but I don't pretend it's a guy. It's just comfortable. I've also wrapped my legs around pillows, stuck my feet inside my pillowcases (because it's nice and cool, lol), etc.

I cuddle my pillow every night and pretend it’s my boyfriend, yeah. Even if I didn’t pretend it was him, I’d still do it because I can’t fall asleep without something in my arms.

Yes but not pretending it’s a man. I just like hugging things. I’ve always hugged a teddy bear to sleep when I was younger but now that I’ve grown a pillow seems a more suitable and comforting size to hug.
