Is it bad if iv never had a girlfriend at 22?

i have 0 experience with girls, never kissed 1, never had a girlfriend, still a virgin.
never even flirted with or even talked to 1.,... except for this 1 time i was sitting in a building entrance and this girl smiled at me and sat next to me... i was pretty much forced to talk to her cos she started a convo with me... but that is only the time iv ever spoke to a girl that wasn't some 50yr old teacher or support worker...

is this bad?
also to be honest i dont think i will ever have a girlfriend to be honest,
and i will probably die a virgin, not that i want to be,,,,,,, i would love to have some experience with a girl or lose my virginity... but i have very low self esteem and bad social anxiety... so i dont see anything ever happening,
even when im sure a girl was showing signs of intrest in me, i refused to believe it and told myself noway a girl could like a ugly guy like me, i put it down to her just being friendly.
even a girl asked me for sex once and i didn't reply cos in my head i jus thought she was joking jus so she could laugh at me and say "ew, no way, u really think id wanna do that with u?"
so as u can see... even if a girl shows some sign of intrest in me... i put it down to being a joke or jus being friendly, and jus put it off and dont try... so i dont ever see anything ever happening... is this bad?

I know anxiety can make it bad but once you're over the first few steps it's gon be fine. A friend of mine with anxtiety did it too.
Look in the mirror. Tell yourself you're the king. Go out. And do what you wana do. You've got this

I think the same way as you sometimes about myself but the truth is I’m probably wrong so many people tell me how attractive I am etc and give me compliments/ compare me to other attractive people you really just have to own yourself

It's not bad to not have had a boyfriend girlfriend at 22 nothing wrong with it, but don't let it put you down you aren't doomed you just need to improve your social skills & gain some confidence!! Try going out of your comfort zone every once in a while best of luck :)

Im honestly the same as you except I never had sex offered to me. But a couple girls flirted with me and gave me their number but i never even tried due to low self confidence. The only girl i ever did ask out said no and I was expecting her to, I've always had the belief that i cannot obtain sex or any type of relationship with the opposite sex. Weirdly i dont consider myself ugly, and I make male friends very easily.
