As a guy who has high standards of an ass, yes I love that my girl's confident enough to wear her most comfortable bikini, which is a thong or g-string because full cover bottoms (size small) don't fully cover her butt, which is large, so she has to adjust them after getting wet because they bunch up into a thong anyway.
