Girls, Why does she stare at me when I’m not looking?

I started my 2nd year of university and moved back into student accommodation. However , there are some new people living with me. I noticed one of the girls keeps staring at me when I am not looking. Like if I am walking around in the kitchen she keep watching me but if I face her way she looks away quickly. And if she’s in my way she is super shy. I don’t get why everytime I walk in she always stares, and I can feel her staring at me when I am not looking. One time I had a shower and changed clothes and went to the kitchen and she kept staring at me when I wasn’t looking but never talks to me

I used to do that to my boyfriend for years before we started dating, he hated it. I couldn't help it though, I was totally infatuated. He used to complain to our friends about it but that didn't stop me lol. I just loved admiring everything about him. She's DEFINITELY into you. Yeah how can you tell? The Others don’t stare they just say hi or continue watching tv. She stares , then if I’m not looking she stares at me. It's weird hearing someone explain it. Because that's LITERALLY EXACTLY what I would do. As soon as he'd look at me I would look away out of nervous habit. But she's most likely interested in you, the shower thing... That's a dead give away. A girl can't resist looking at their crush fresh out of the shower, it's pretty distracting. There was this other guy that I had a crush on and he lived with my best friend, every time he came out of the shower I couldn't look away, I ended up sleeping in his bed and waiting for him to come home from work a few nights, but he was clueless and didn't pick up on any hints so nothing ever ended up happening, eventually he messaged me and caught on but it was too late.

Yeah I see what you mean, just like the other girls say hi and don’t stare. Like if there watching tv and I walk in she freezes and just stares, then if I’m walking around I can feel her staring and can see her doing it in the corner of my eyes. She is really shy. Just wondering if she has a crush on me or just say dreaming and nervous

Because girls get nervous. She is probably looking at you because she likes you but gets really nervous so she would not say anything.
