how do people be confident if there weaknesses are as glaring as their strengths? Doesn't seem too much to have pride upon in the competitive, comparative sense. I think people were made to desire success, and the litmus test of your success is how you do vs others. You wouldn't know you were smart if you didn't have an idea what the standard success or rate of such intellectual challenges were. Or your exams weren't graded. Even if you forever slightly improved, as some you should only try to improve yourself. You might improve and I guess feel good, but it would almost be out of blind ignorant denial. Because you could self improve your important until you're 90, but what if it was slight improvments each time and the reality is it was near or very bottom level of performance compared to many people. As a competitive person, it's hard for me to not compare and compete with others because of the drive for success.
Confidence is knowing that you're this or that or good at something Cockiness is trying to show everyone what you're good at and acting like you're better than anyone else
There's a really thin line between the two. but I would say as long as you dont hurt other people by anyhow while you practise your "confidence" you're good
I wouldn’t consider it either cockiness nor confident. I’d label it low self-esteem with a strong need for validation. A legitimate, “high maintenance” woman.
A cocky person likes to flaunt and to be seen by others, it's almost like the they get validation through that. A confident people know what they got and don't need to show off.
They’re just captions. Reading them just makes me believe that they are confident in their own skin. If you talk to them in person, and they’re constantly bragging then that = cocky

Cocky.
Confidence is belief in self that doesn't need to be mentioned.
Cockiness is either a real or phony belief in self that is expressed excessively.
Confidence is being self-assured and knowing one's worth, but also one's weaknesses, although they aren't intimidated by their weaknesses.
Cockiness is having an overinflated, unrealistic view of oneself

Confidence is just doing something so in this case posting a photo without a caption
Cockiness is doing it or saying you'll do something but in a braggart kind of way
The above display was the latter

That too.
Well said, dude
I would consider that arrogance and conceitedness. True confidence is quiet confidence , without " blowing your own trumpet " constantly.

That's called "r/nicegirls" or "thots" or if they are tweens, "being quirky"
No it's not cute or "kawai" and doesn't portray any sort of confidence.
Confidence - "I can do that"
Cockiness - "I can do that... see I did that; that's how good I am"
It will be impossible to note but when you see it and feel it and hear it... you will know the difference!!!

Confidence is quiet and never boasts, whereas cockiness never shuts up.
Going to have sex for babies is confidence making different girls mother's with same cock is cockiness
Neither. Just vain and it sends a bad message about her character that most people don't like.
Cockiness seeks further validation from other people. Confidence is sustained self validation.
Confidence does not need to be publicized! Once you feel that it does, that’s cocky.
Confidence is thinking your good enough. Cockiness is thinking your better than enough.
I tend to run away from both type of women.
But it's a long story. Got some bad experiences.
Clearly a thin line DUH lol...
and smarty witty mother fuckers like me who know what is up non stop and give a fuck what you think...
