Should I confess my feelings at the last minute?

I'm graduating high school next week and I want to tell my EX that I never got over him and I miss him. I want to tell him as he's leaving; that way, we don't have to walk back into the reception awkwardly.

I get this vibe from him that he still likes me. He even calls me when I drive by him coincidentally or when he sees my car just to ask what I'm doing.

He helped me with my math a few weeks ago, just me and him. It felt like we never broke up.

Any advise into how I should approach him on that night?

In case you're wondering, we only broke up because he was too busy for me and he felt bad that he could never be there when I needed him.

So here's my update! Tonight was my graduation but it turns out, I'm going to see him Saturday for a Senior getty at a friends. So I didn't say anything tonight just in case it might get awkward for Saturday :/ Maybe then I will tell him..hopefully.

I DID IT! I went up to him tonight as he was leaving. I told I still liked him and I just wanted to tell him since it was summer time and we just graduated. His response "yea I heard". He gave me a few smirks here and there which only made me feel worse. Then He laughed...I slapped him playfully and told him to not make this anymore awkward than it already is..then I walked away...did NOT go as planned.

Last night, I "accidentally" text him saying 'Hey I'm done running. Como on over.' I just wanted to see what he would say back.

Him: Wat?

Me: What? (playing it off)

Him: You text me saying I can come over because you're done running?

Me: Oh I'm sorry! I meant to send that to Krystle!

Him: Lol wutta bum


Then the conversation kept going, I didn't want to bring up what I told him last week so I kept it casual. Should I text him again in a day or two asking if he wants to come over or what?

He text me last night just asking what up. We ended up talkingg about my job (I sell cutco knives with one of his best friends). He started asking if he ever wanted a knife, he could come to me. We kept going on for a while until he fell asleep. Then he text me the next day asking about my schedule!

Then I invited him to the movies to see the new Pirates movie with me and his friend that I work with. He got all excited lol.

Movie Day! He wants to hitch a ride with me so "he doesn't have to drive so far". No hug hello, nothing. He buys a big bucket of popcorn to share with me (but I wasn't hungry ): lol) He sat next to me during the movie instead of his friend. Ride home- Pretty quiet, I was really tired. But thanks to music, we started singing along haha. He might come over Sunday for fireworks. We'll see. No hug goodbye, nothing. Maybe something will happen on Sunday.

I think it's good that you were moving on. However, how do you feel about him now? Ignore everything he is doing atm, how do you feel? When you think about him do you get butterflies, or do you think "oh I want to be with him" or do you just not care?

It's always the way... every time I was close to moving on and getting over things, stunts come out of the bag! Swear they just watch your life and wait haha.

It sounds to me like he still has feelings for you - he is concerned about what's going on in your life, and when you have a bad day he wants to make it better and make you smile. Someone who doesn't care does not do things like that.

That's good - the fact he's willing to spend time with you to go to a movie is good in a few ways - 1. films can be quite intimate things, especially if you went to films together when you were a couple. He will remember "oh we did that when we were at the cinema" etc, so the fact he's willing to embrace those memories is a good thing :) 2. Films are generally a couple thing, or very very very good friends, or a group thing. If you're going alone together, considering your history, it's likely he's interested in you more than friends. 3. Generally people go to films at nighttime - after work, after school, etc, and night outings are again either group things, good friends, or potential dates.

Hope that helps... sounds like whatever you're doing is attracting him back, and good luck with it :) I really hope it all works out for you and that you enjoy the film (I've seen it, not 100% about it personally.)

My heart beats faster than a humming bird when I see him or hear of him. But I was really ready to see other people. Like I was excited to move on to college and meet new people. He wasn't even in the picture anymore, but then he text me and when I saw his name my heart went crazy!

Well, I think the fact you moved on is good - it's proved to you that you don't NEED him, so it secures you as a person. But, at the same time, if your heart went crazy and you smile uncontrollable, you're always thinking about him, and there's just that WOW factor, I think you should go for it. it sounds to be what you want right now.

When I told my ex that I still liked him, he said "yeah I know you do... it's pretty obvious" and my reaction was much the same as yours. He had been smiling about it as well and then looked really awkward and changed the subject. I thought, sh**, I've made a fool of myself.

...Turns out he felt the same about me, but he was too shy to show it! So yeah - don't take it, he was laughing at me, take it more like "I'm a bloke. Someone still things I'm hot stuff. So I'm going to enjoy the fact I'm hot stuff and everyone wants me."

Yea, I feel really relieved! How did you find out you find out that your ex still had feelings for you?

We spent more and more time together. I was using No Contact, and then structured time with him. Like, making sure I ended conversations, spending no more than an hour with him, keeping activities fun so he could be close if he wanted to.

After I came clean, he gradually grew closer, literally, and then hugging me more. He came clean and said "I still really like you.." and blushed. He's quite shy.

Don't take it too hard... he may have just lost his nerve.

Why don't you try something a little less pressuring for him? Give him a week or so to just have some space and then suggest something like "I've got a free hour before work, want to meet and grab some lunch" or something like that? Something in the day, something out in the open (cause then he won't think your after hanky panky or anything)

Or. Maybe YOU should give yourself a week. You don't want to come across as needy or depressed or hurt at his decision and best way to do that is to just have some space :)

Doing things in the day make men feel more comfortable - sex is associated more with nighttime, to state the obvious, but no drinks, etc etc etc. Generally night time means more commitment :)

Just go at your own pace... if you feel sad or stuff like that, it's a sign just to have a break for yourself.

Get to a point where you giggle and smile spontaneously. Then you're ready :)

Don't do that. The last thing you want to do is bring up an awkward (strong) sentiment during graduation. Furthermore, he man end up having issues afterward trying to figure out "what ifs" now that its pretty much too late. I understand you two still had a great time with each other, despite the break up, but if anything, just hug him afterward and tell him you'll miss him and thanks for all his help. I'm assuming you two don't really live near each other or you going to different universities? If you were going the same place then it'd be possible to talk to each other again and what not, but if you two are parting ways, then just gentle and tactful with what you say to him... because there really is no point in bringing up these sentiments unless you were insisting on getting back together and trying again.

My advise is as stated above. Hug him, miss him, and thank him. It doesn't need to be long and drawn out. However, supposing you two are really close friends (ish) and do live near each other, perhaps both of you drive or aren't really going to be that far away from each other, even now that you graduated... and if you are really insistent on this... you could try waiting near the end of graduate after everyone has hugged and said their goodbyes and try talking to him and then say what you want afterward. Hug him and ask him if you can talk to him briefly momentarily. But you don't want to take him away from everyone else who is going to want pictures and good byes.

In regards to update... I think its just time to move on hun. You tried, I don't think he's interested. You just graduated high school and you have a solid college life to look forward to and plenty of new people to meet. Don't circle your life around one guy at such a young age.

I know it's not encouraging, but bare in mind you're both going to be a a little cautious if you want it to work. You don't want it to go too fast.

Maybe next time you see him, YOU should hug him and look at his reaction? Does he smile, not smile, hug you back, look uncomfortable, hug you the way he always has done, touches your waist, smells you, etc etc.

If he smells you he's getting your scent; he misses being able to smell you. As for the way he reacts to a hug, that's fairly obvious haha.

Being in a car doesn't matter! :P With my partner, we ended up talking about my boobs and my partner was in the passenger seat, leant to hug me. He put his head on my boobs and looked down into my crotch - I happened to be wearing a very tight black mini skirt that was trying to ride up. Bit taken aback but he enjoyed himself...

As for him smelling, sometimes you can hear, but he might turn his head towards you, or he will bury his head down eg. into your hair. Just tilting the head really! :)
