This girl has been stealing glances at me, and only looks away really fast when I catch her. Friends told me that she’s always staring at me but, when I approach her she always goes silent, and looks down. She’s loud with her friends but, she goes really quiet when I approach her. Ever since I hit on her she’s started to go to the places that I hang out without speaking to me, and just observes me from a distance with her friends. They do it very subtly so that I don’t notice but, a few of my friends that notice let me know. I may just be overthinking everything because I’ve caught feeling hard.
I’ve talked to her over snapchat after hitting on her, and our conversation was really dull. I had to carry the conversation, and she never asked me any questions in return. She answered every question I had.
I approached her but, she seemed so focused on her work that she didn’t notice that I was sat down next to her trying to get her attention. Although, I doubt it because I made a lot of noise in order to get her attention but, she ignored me. When she turned to look at me her face was so shocked, and I saw her body flinch. (She never had any earphones) When I spoke to her in person she was a lot more talkative, and she was asking me a lot of questions. She held very strong eye contact throughout the whole conversation without taking her eye off me it was kind of uncomfortable but, I enjoyed looking into her eyes. I tried to look for dilated pupils but, her eyes are dark brown, and they are naturally large.
Talking about eye contact, whenever I catch her staring at me It is always for a brief moment. I always hold it until she looks away but, she never does any of that look back thing that I’ve seen online.
I’m so confused. Is she a shy girl or just not interested?
Note- I’ve seen her get comfortable with some camp kid, and I’m pretty sure he met her after I hit on her.
