Why would a girl remove someone as a follower on instagram or reduce her # of followers?

i've noticed the odd girl i know on that site disappear now and then , i was following them but suddenly if i search for them its private. doesn't happen that often as i'm still following a large number of pages on that site.

but when it does not sure if my account was specifically targeted or if they simply decided to reduce there # of followers and my account didn't make the cut , the girls that do this also seem to be really hot above average for some reason

i've never done anything to bother these girls , i rarely even like or comment on there photo's , its not like i'm a problematic follower

They get to make the decisions here. The truth is why are you people, be it male or female even speaking or liking or even following people who are strangers and don't know them? Again, even if you don't do that or is the intent, other men are and do. To be safe, they do a cleaning of every person that they don't want around. Sorry to say.

maybe but its instagram , part of the dynamic of the site is to allow people to follow people they don't really know but find interesting , i recall years ago hearing over and over again from girls how they were annoyed with random guys following them on facebook

i think part of the idea of instagram was to allow for a concept which allowed for more random follows without coming off as weird. most girls if they have a large number of followers like 1000 or more , a follow isn't generally seen as a big deal

Doesn't matter. Your forgetting that they get to decide if they want you there or not. It is still their account which means it is a big deal. It doesn't matter what site it's on Girls, in general, don't like being followed around. Period. Instagram is a place to easily share videos and photos. Not to make the following easier. That just became part of the trend.

true its there account , not sure if its a big deal if people follow them or not , most have 1000's of followers. the girl i noticed missing last night , when i originally followed her last year it didn't seem like a big deal. never had any issues with her or private message's or anything.

says she has 1300 followers now but feel like it was more when i followed maybe 1500 or even closer to 2000 , so she thinned a lot of them out , maybe not me specifically but anyone she didn't know well
