Please dont judege. I lied to my ex I was in a car accident. How do I get away with it?

Before i start, i know this is all wrong and i shouldn't have done it, but i was in a really bad place back then, so please dont judge.. instead of an insult better dont write anything down.. i know i made a mistake.

I texted him through a different number saying i was a friend of mine, and telling him i was in a car accident. My ex told his best friend to call a friend of mine (with whom i hadn't been in touch lately) to ask about the accident, and that friend assumed i was lying, so instead of calling me or anything she just said she doesn't know, which made them doubt. Then my cousin called my ex's friend and told him that i am feeling better.. he asked for pics but she told him she doesn't have any.. now it's been weeks after that happened and i just texted with my friend to whom i said i was dissapointed by the way she handled this, instead of talking to them she couldve tried talking to me first... other than that, i didn't reach back the best friend of my ex, and i'm at a point where i need to save my face and to convince them i was really in that car accident but i am good now.

It is wrong i know, but what's done is done and i need advices..

That's a toughy. I would just come clean about the whole thing, I know that is the last thing you wanna do, but hear me out.
Admitting an old lie makes you look really good because it proves that you're in a much better place now than you were before, for two reasons, the first is that you feel confident enough in yourself now that you don't need to lie, the second is that it shows you realize that before you really were in a bad spot which only means that you're in a much better spot now and don't care about your old self image because it's truly not you anymore.

Get a baseball bat and go to town on your car with it. Take lots of pictures and have somebody punch you in the face and take pictures of that too. Tell your boyfriend you are still in pain and could he come over and take care of you.
