Is it just my OCD or do any other girls have to match the color of their bra and panties when going out (Read details)?

Lol I guess it goes back to that old saying like always wear clean underwear because you never know when you will be in an accident. Now im just like..."they need to match in case the people in the ER see me" (and completely be unconcerned about my wounds lmao). Mom's put the weirdest thoughts in our heads lol.

hmm, since I have OCD tendencies myself, I just have to repeat to myself that it doesn't bother me about four times, and then it won't really bother me... lol.

it doesn't bug me because it really doesn't matter but I still just wonder, hmmmm, what happened... or why? lol, so to every tingly question in my brain I tell myself it doesn't matter, and I repeat it doesn't bother me... then all good.

@Blackcupcake lmao... yes, that's the story of my life, with OCD tendencies... but I would not question her exactly.

Through all my life, I've deal with so many little things that can trigger my mild OCD, so I blame my brain for that, it's my brain that questions it, sees it not right, and will try to "fix it" or change it, correct it. So, I have learned to let all of that "not bother" me so it doesn't get on my way as an actual problem.

So, at this point of my life, for example... I'd notice the strap bra with a tank top for example, being a different color from the panties that you know, sometimes show a bit of waistband... I'll notice that and my brain will wonder, that's were the "questioning" starts, just in my mind... but it stays there, stops there, I don't let that actually bother me, and so many other things.

I've learned to not fixate on so many things, just so I can function. The vast majority of those things are about myself and involving me, what others do have less of an effect on me, as to trigger for brain itching and tingles.

wow that’s very interesting. I’ve actually seen guys using their ocd as an excuse to point things out on a girl that bothers them. For some it can be whatever but others take it very personal. But I like your mindset a lot.

I personally nitpick on myself, but don’t pay much attention to others lol. So there could be things I wouldn’t be bothered by on other girls but if it’s me, it gets on my nerves until I fix/change it.

@Blackcupcake I think I am very lucky, while I do have many "quirks" in my brain, too many little things that could bother me and they were actually an issue when I as a kid, I was also able to work on them, and be able to control it somehow... "ignore" most of them. I'm a bit of a germophobe as well so, it has not been easy but it was very possible for me to work on this stuff.

I use hand sanitizers a lot especially after touching foreign objects, I always place my things a certain way on the table and I like to keep it that way. Crooked or dirty things bother me so I fix that instinctively.

@Blackcupcake It can be funny when I am a guest for dinner, or just visiting someone at their house, and if they just grab a cup or a plate... and serve me something to eat or drink, I won't be rude or anything but that's something my mind just won't let go, in the background. I don't like to just grap a cup, a glass or plate and then just use it, even if all of mine are spotless clean because they are, but still, I need to check them first, wash them a bit, and make sure they're dry and spotless.

Water marks and stains are just dreadful to me, just thinking about them makes me want to go shower.

Also the sound of chewing loudly is a huge trigger for me, so I always put in my earphones and that triggers people because they feel like I’m judging them but I’m not, it’s just that there’s something wrong with my brain lol

I have only ever thought about matching for a new lover. Otherwise, don't care.
There are more important things to worry about.

I have had bigger boobs all of my life and I don’t particularly care for them. I mean they’re lovely when they serve bedroom purposes, unclothed, or in pretty bras but NOT fashionable by any means. Can’t even wear a button up shirt without a peep hole. Don’t even try a romper because bigger boobs means shorter clothing in the waist area, leading to what appears to be an unintentional camel toe wedgie. If I had my druthers, I’d prefer a smaller size with the same amount of perkiness.

I'm very aware of what it is as I deal with it on a tactile basis for one. If I walk past certain things I HAVE to touch it a certain way. If it is soft it has to be brushes with my right pinky finger. If it is hard then I make a fist and punch it quickly. I have hit more brick walls, handrails and trees than I care to count.

If I don't do these things I can't focus on anything else except going back to the same place and fixing the problem.
