I’ve never once heard a nurse tell a man to leave, in a forcible manner.
Most of the time, the nurses will warn the father that it can be a bit gory or shocking, and remind them that many men have passed out or have gotten sick from watching it.
Also, if they notice the father being pale or looking like they will pass out, they will tell them to leave. They do that because if someone passes out, they have to tend to that person immediately. Which will crowd the room and possibly stress out the mother, which puts the mother and baby at risk.
Anyways, it’s just safer to have the father step outside if he can’t handle it or looks like he can’t handle it. That is the only times I have seen nurses tell the father to leave.

No one dared to tell my husband to leave when I gave birth.
There’s a few reasons. More room to work which is better for mother and child, let’s be honest many of us can’t stand the sight of blood, and if anyone fails or throws up it makes the delivery room dangerous. Besides… men watching “it” stretch like that… damaged lmao
Nope not really heard of this happen, possibly if complications and they need to see what’s going on. The last thing anyone needs is some father panicking.

Never heard of that. My husband was there for all of my births and even delivered our youngest son (doctors were there but he wanted to be the one to catch him)
When my children were born guys were even allowed in the delivery room.
I was there for the birth of both of my kids.
hehe if they are worried if you'll see what's down there, you already have if you are having a baby
What hospital do you use? Lol
They don't. I watched both of my children be born.
