Genuine question. Having dated many women. What the hell is actually up with so many of them wanting to secretly be degraded, ex spanked, choked etc?

It's literally been like 80% of them, Don't take this the wrong way. I'm no fan of patriarchy and this isn't a back door to say bad things about women. And I'm not necessarily complaining. But I really do find it a bit concerning how many women like to be treated like this in the bedroom. Not in a kink shame kinda way, but I've seen how a lot of it leaks into their day to day life aka lower self esteem etc.

Lol i should have mentioned the other side of the spectrum... Which is men who like to do it. i find that they are usually secretly really hateful towards women in general and like the women, it tends to bleed into their real life with how that treat women on a day to day.

It makes me confused because he was a very sweet guy in a normal day but that just was so conflicting. I think there is always some underlying issues that leads to kinks like that.
