Girl sits comfortably next to me on the couch. What does this mean?

This girl we first met on a road trip. We where both sitting next to each other on the back seat of a sedan. While sitting next to each other, I noticed she fixed her hair several time, applied lip gloss several times throughout the trip etc...

After the road trip we had a long drive back home. She was so tired so she slept on the back seat with her head almost touching my thighs.

The next day at home I noticed she dressed very nicely and must've put much effort into her appearance.

The next couple of days she always sits next to me in the couch watching TV. She did this two times now. While sitting next to me she is very relaxed and sleeps on the couch with here legs pointing to where I am sitting on the couch. Her legs are in close proximity of touching my legs.

These are good signs but I am still confused because she doesn't initiate much conversation with me and kind of ignores me a bit unless I talk to here. When we have conversations it's only for short periods of time. So she is sending mixed messages and I am confused whether she likes me or not.

Please help!

And provide guidance on how I can move this forward.

This is the typical question a teenager (13-15) would ask and not really a person with that much life experience.

Also, this woman seems to be living with you or at least has access to your place or you have access to hers since you are very often together "on the couch".

I have the feeling you are not telling us everything.

If you are indeed 32, then you should ask her why she behaves the way she does and what her intentions are with her behavior.

I see it that she is only comfortable and that there is nothing to try to figure out. If she does not converse much with you, then there is probably nothing to worry about in terms of her liking you more than a friend would like another friend.
