I'm Filipina-Canadian, but full-blooded Filipina. Growing up here was also pretty racist, and I was closeted until 27 when I realized I was bi (literally all my friends knew before I did).

It is less racist than America, but humans are humans and it is also an originally colonist nation - white people are still more privileged in Canada.
