Do girls put age restrictions on guys they’re attracted to as well?

Ex. Girl is 21yrs, says she’ll only date no older than 25, but then an attractive 30 year old pops up, and she breaks her rule.

I’ve seen this happen with some good looking guys who meeting younger women. Is this a thing? If the guy is hot enough, some young women will not care about age

I basically did that, but in reverse. I told myself I'd never date a guy more than 5 years younger than me, but I ended up marrying (and having 2 kids with) a guy 15 years younger than me.

Yes, he was/is hot (and that didn't hurt), but the more important things were that he was compatible with me maturity wise, we had similar/compatible goals, we got/get along super well, and we had/have amazing chemistry.

I'm not going to lie, him being super hot did help a decent amount with my original hesitancy over the age gap. However, if those other things I mentioned above weren't there either we wouldn't have gone anywhere relationship wise.

Nothing is really set in stone. I say I want men my age or 4-5 years older. That doesn't mean I'd reject someone who I like just because they happen to be younger.
There's usually more to it than "if he's hot enough", lol.
All the men I've been with have been younger than me.

All girls are different, I think for girls it doesn’t matter that much. I see people getting married with a 10 year different, 8 year difference, 7 year difference. It sucks for guys because if a guy kept striking out in his teens and 20s but establishes himself in his 30s, better physique and what not. Yeah the guy will attract more women especially in that early-to-mid-to-late 20s group.

I will date any age who is attractive to me. So far the oldest has been 45, but most are 20s and some are 30s. I don't think I would go older than 45.

Some girls maybe. I wouldn't be attracted to them in the first place.
