I decided at 24 to live my younger years out again the way I didn't in college and let my hair grow. The women in my family are very mixed on the look. I don't care regardless, but have noticed double takes from people all the time. I wonder if they think I am homeless or it is a decent look. The only compliments I have ever received were from dudes who respect the commitment of getting through the awkward phase. I have only had one woman actually comment outside my family when I could tell she was looking at me in the gas station. She was wondering if I am trying to style my hair like shirley temple. Not sure if it was an insult or not lol.
Superb Opinion
I think it's a matter of personal preference :) I would certainly see it as an achievement, especially if the hair was taken care of/groomed etc! If it was dirty and unkempt then that is a turn off. I think some girls get jealous when men can grow longer healthier hair 😅
Most Helpful Opinions
Personally I don't like long hair on a guy, and as for any facial hair that's a most definite turn off... Sorry.
However, as always there will be some women who go for this look.
