Are my experiences aberration or nowadays do they represent the typical woman?

They begin in college. Another student and I invited these two girls to the Sugar Bowl. We paid for the trip, the tickets, theirs and our rooms, and the New Year’s Eve out on Bourbon Street. Later we discovered there were two fraternity guys in their room but the girls didn’t invite us. We didn’t like it, but what could we do? We took them to game and took them home. We didn’t ask them again.

Then when I first graduated college, I went out with a very pretty girl, age 18 or 19, from the poor part of town. I was very taken by her and would have married her if she had given me a chance. She had me take her to this country bar. It was not my kind of crowd but obviously her kind. As soon as we got there she had me wait at the bar while she visited someone. She returned in a few minutes and said some guy (maybe a hot plumber’s helper) would take her home. I didn’t like that either; but, again, what could I do?

I met her 3 or 4 year later. She and her 2 babies were living in a cheap one bedroom apartment in the low income part of town. This time, she made it very clear that I was acceptable but just gave her my older TV set and didn’t see her again.

I have never been their age so I can't speak as to whether those girls are aberrations or represent the norm. However, I know how girls my age act so I fear they are not aberrations. I assume the first two girls were college students that lack class, consideration, or good manners.

The last girl is trailer trash and I don't like that guys will go goggle-eyed over a pretty face instead of seeking girls that are ladies and have good manners which are more important traits. I understand that looks is important but there needs to a balance.

I’m not like those girls; nor will I be when I’m older and start dating for real. If I accept a date, that doesn’t guarantee that I will another date. However, I will honor my obligation and not disrespect my date. If I on a date by chance meet some good looking fraternity guy, I can see him on another day. And, if I don’t, there are thousands just like him and several I most certainly will have the opportunity to meet.

Get to know them before spending so much money or making big plans. Meet at a cafe or a walk in a park.
tjese are not the typical in my world. Similarly, I am not attracted to guys who drink and hang out in sports bars.
Learn about your type (I think I know) then go from there.

There's nothing you can do except stop dating flaky women, and stop spending a lot of money on women you barely know.

The pretty girl from the poor part of town? She probably didn't feel comfortable around you -- that she would never fit in with you and your friends and family.

it is just your personal experience and applies to yourself only, and to the past as well...
