Why do insecure and immature girls reject their crush?

This girl really likes me since her friends have told me and she checks me out a lot. I try to speak to her but most the time she only says Hi blushes and then runs away or she'd be on her phone acting nervous around me. I believe she's quite insecure and immature and doesn't have a lot of experience around boys, so I can empathise what she feels like when she's near me. I asked her via text whether we could hangout where she just rejected it then just ghosts me. She also loves to ghost but is there a way that I can make her less immature and more secure or is it time to find someone else that is worthy of my time. I'm sure it's the latter. She's now stopped hanging around her best friend and hangs out with this other friend to try to avoid me.
