I sat next to this girl in my class at my community college. We got along instantly. Every time class would end, we would talk for hours. I texted her and made sure she got home ok every time. She stared at me in class all the time. She would stand very close to me. She dropped hints all the time. I once said that I wasn’t supposed to take this class. She responded with “Well then you wouldn’t have met my pretty face.”
We both agreed that we were supposed to meet each other in our lives. She said she was “Destined to meet me”.
We told each other everything about our lives. I mean everything. We talked about our families, lives, futures, etc.
I didn’t make a clear move until the last week. After our final class, I mentioned going to a movie. She agreed. Class sadly ran late, and we missed every movie showing.
I have barely talked to her since. She takes days to respond to a text, and they’re usually just one word answers…. just 2/3 weeks ago, she was sending 3 or 4 paragraph texts. Now, I’m lucky to get a response.
What could I have done wrong? I’ve genuinely never felt so close to someone. She has a rough life at home, so maybe it’s that?
Did I not make a move early enough? I was nervous the first few months. We had SUCH a good thing going, I thought “Why potentially ruin it?”
Is this done for good? What did I do wrong?
