There's a girl in my senior year of class that's been acting peculiar. We used to talk quite casually but now it's as if she cannot speak to me at all. When we're in class and when she sees me she'd look quite panicky and start playing with her uniform and preen her hair. I'd also catch her checking me out sometimes. And when I do try to talk to her she'd give short answers and walk away. When we sit beside each other she wouldn't converse with me would look another way but she's always close by just standing next to me. But here's the catch when I try to talk to her she'd turn away and act like she doesn't want to talk. I mean I'm not sure what I should do does she think I'm scary? How am I suppose to talk to her?

I'm pretty sure she has a crush on you. But she doesn't know how to react and is possibly a bit confused with her feelings since you guys were friends before. Maybe she doesn't even realize her feelings yet and just know she gets super nervous when you're around. I don't think that she thinks you are scary in the way you are thinking of.. maybe she's scared that she does something to embarrass herself in front of you.

Now it depends on what you want. Do you want to be just friends? Or are you able to reciprocate her feelings? Well, after she rejected me I made a new Insta account so we don't have contact on there anymore. Here's the thing is that, I did try to talk to her even when we were friends and sometimes she'd brush me off like, ' maybe later' and seem uninterested. (She did seem very interested via text though but then again it's text). But she always asked my friends where I was when I wasn't there and whether I'm going to the same college as her. Now it's like she's completely done a 360 and still wants to be close but doesn't want to talk and is really nervous around me. It's summer break now and it's 2 months before I return to my college. You know I understand if you're not interested in somebody you don't really care about how you look, but she seems like she cares by adjusting herself and being near me. I don't act nervous at all and will treat her like how I treat anyone else. But she said she doesn't see me that so, I don't really know.

Like I said earlier though, she's probably confused with her feelings and doesn't know she has a crush on you. Eventhough she does. Perhaps you confessing to her made her take more notice of you and she has started developing feelings for you. And perhaps she changed her mind but don't know how to tell you that since she already rejected you.

Though now it's really up to her and what she wants since you have already made the first move. The only thing you can do is try to continue to be her friend as best you can. Or if you are really tired of her games, then I guess you would want to move on 🤷‍♀️
