Why do people think women can pursue sex just like men can?

Why does society think that women can pursue sex the same way like men when its proven through studies that women cannot and that there is a natural and biological difference that cannot be ignored. Women who sleep around are often known to have less self esteem and worse emotional conditions while the same isn't present for men.

Why couldn't we as a society or the feminists go onto the street and protest against the men who sleep around and rack up women after women in bed. But instead feminists wanted to be exactly like those men who sleep around. That doesn't make sense to me as sleeping around is seen as a toxic trait and careless. A man who sleeps around doesn't care about the women he sleeps with while most women need an emotional connection for it to even happen.

Yeah I agree with what you said, i guess this idea was born from the fact that some men think less of women who sleep around, and a woman can feel ashamed by other men because of that. This can feel as a restriction of basic freedom. But I think this is bs, at some point I was carefree and totally wanted to just enjoy men’s company in a casual way, I felt free and no one made me feel bad or ashamed about it. But when I was younger I did feel a kind of pressure to be promiscuous/carefree as it was cool or smth and that is bad…

Men were biologically designed to compete for women who have multiple men.

I'm taking both accountable, women wanted the choice to sleep around like men because in the 1960's men slept with lots of women and didn't comit while women were supposed to comit marry.

You can't have two completely different sets of standards and expect the one who has the lesser one be happy about it. If anything, none of the two genders should be allowed to sleep around.
