Ladies, what's the problem with the toilet seat?

Anyone can answer but I'm interested to see what the ladies will say.

Every now and then I hear about couples (I even know some of them) arguing about the damn toilet seat and women often saying something like "the toilet seat was the last straw, I'm gonna dump him". I asked a few of my friends (all guys) what the problem was but they couldn't see any problem about it and couldn't answer. So I'm asking the ladies here, hopefully to finally get an answer to this ridiculous "problem".

Why is it such a problem that your man doesn't leave the toilet seat the way you want it to be? Aren't other things far more important than that? Such as the way he treats you, for instance? After all, ladies, you have hands, you can change its position without unnecessary scandals.

I will say technically speaking if the man has to put the toilet seat back down after putting it up to pee, then he is doing 100% of the work associated with the toilet seat. He puts it up, she puts it down and then puts it back up. But in reality, women pee much more often than men and of course the big reason is him leaving the seat up right before he goes to sleep and she has to wake up at 3:00 AM, doesn't turn the light on and is half asleep and she ends up potentially falling in the toilet bowl (unless her ass is big). She isn't going to be in a good mood the next day...

But, us men don't argue either way because it is such a trivial task to put the seat down. You can't win that argument and even complaining makes you look ridiculous.

Finally someone to understand the question and explain it to me what exactly is the problem about that toilet seat! Turns out it's even more ridiculous than I thought.

"She isn't going to be in a good mood the next day"

If she falls in, the only one to be mad at is herself. The man can't be held responsible that she didn't have the common sense (even if half asleep) to look where she's going and what she's doing.

@Valso I don't disagree, it's just not important enough for me to fight about. I was raised in a house with 4 sisters and no brothers. So I put the seat down.

I was raised by 4 women total - mother, sister, a neighbour and a grandmother (no father), so I know what you mean but I still don't put it down.
And I never said you should fight about it, I just fail to see the logic in the man being responsible for the woman's morning misfortune.

@Valdo I would agree. But good luck arguing that. Women think it's cute to use the expression "when momma isn't happy, nobody is happy". I think the implications behind that speak volumes about a female's mentality.

I never lift the seat, why should I? if its wet she should dry it before she sits, I would. take care of your own issues, leave me alone

I've lived with a few of my boyfriend's and it's never bothered me. One of them used to always leave the toilet paper roll empty beside the garbage. I did a test one time to see how many he'd leave there, but he'd never throw them in the garbage bin right next to them. 😅 I finally asked in a joking manner and he said he just forgets to. Anyway, I never brought it up again and continued to throw them away myself. My life didn't stop because I had to throw away a piece of cardboard. I don't see any difference with a toilet seat. 🤷‍♀️

Actually the toilet seat is inhospitable to germs. Even public in public bathrooms, the toilet seats don't have much bacteria. Your hands and face are the worst
