Girls, Is she into me or am I crazy?

So this new supervisor at work is in charge of my section and when I first saw I was immediately drawn to her, I honestly thought to myself this woman is beautiful ( the only downside is that I have plans to move 2 states away but we’ll get back to that later), when we were first introduced there was a lingering fist bump where her hand remained pressed against mine, maintaining eye contact and introducing ourselves getting to know each other there only reason we let go was because she had to meet the rest of the team. I noticed early on she would always get really close when talking to me whether it would be about work, her kids, weekend, etc. on multiple occasions she has touched or grabbed my arm ( friend coworkers have commented about it). There was one week when she was in another section and she didn’t say hello or even look my way, then when she came back the following week it was as if nothing ever happened. At first I thought she was being nice and friendly but my friends at work tell me otherwise and that she’s flirting, for instance one day I apparently had a piece of debris in my hair and instead of telling me that I had something in my hair she just comes up to me and gets in my face like inches apart and removes it. There was one day I went to work right after going to the gym and showed up wearing a tank top because I forgot to pack a work shirt and the tank top was the only shirt that I had that was clean, and she comes up to me and says that the only reason I wore it was because I wanted the other girls at work to see my muscles. While I personally think that’s flirting she’ll say or do something completely opposite, like one day she said “we’re gonna have to find you a girlfriend” I’ve never mentioned anything about my relationship status to her, then go to saying that she has always wanted to move to the city and state that I’m moving to, and when I told her that if she ever does to look me up she replied saying there’s always vacation/visiting.

Even if she is into you, this is a no-go, a red flag and you should keep your fingers off of her.

The reason is that you mentioned she has kids and that fact should be enough for you not to attempt to get into her pants, even if you have the opportunity. Be the gentleman I hope you are and distance yourself from this woman.

Not only will she prove to be the wrong person because if she is indeed seeking the contact with you while having children, she is a very superficial person and you may be in trouble. You are barking up a tree that is way too big for you to handle.

Your best (and only) option is to keep it professional and don't mix business with pleasure. That never works but only creates additional problems. Guaranteed!

Some people are just friendly. I would say and do some of these things, as I grew up with male friends and are comfy around them. I really wouldn’t look into this. She’s a supervisor anyway.
