Girls, why do you find thongs comfortable?

After so many years of swearing them off and sticking with normal underwear I tried wearing a thong panty for the first time today, and in all honesty, I didn't find wearing it comfortable in the slightest. It felt almost exactly like a wedgie, and I didn't keep it on that long. Very uncomfortable.

Now, I know there are some girls here who wear these and some even claim that thongs are the only kind of panties they wear. May I ask why you find wearing these things comfortable? I sure don't.

I’m one of the girls that thinks thongs are the best. They are honestly the only kind of undies I wear.

I do remember they were a little awkward at first. It took a few times of all day wear and they disappeared. I coudent even tell I was wearing them. That said, not all thongs are created equal. Some are not comfy.

my theory is it has to do with my shape. I have kinda a bubble butt. Any other undies I put on ends up in the same place a thong does. With a thong it’s a thin, ergonomically designed piece of fabric rather than a big section of cloth.

I think it has to do with waist to butt dimensions. If you have a small waist to booty size, the back of your panties are going to get bunched up in there anyway so it's best to have as little as possible. If you have a large waist to booty ratio, this isn't going to be an issue.

It sounds like you tried the type that have the strip that goes in between your cheeks. If so, those do feel like wearing a wedgie and I don't recommend them.

The one's I wear have a string, or butt floss, at the back instead of the strip. I find these extremely comfortable. My favorites are made of satin silk and they have high leg openings with the string sides resting on top of my hips beside my navel. I wear these often and I've gone about my entire day wearing these.

Ok. So you've "gone about your entire day" wearing thongs? Do you mean like wearing those in public or do you stay home? Covered? If not, that's awfully skanky of you and I'm positive it's illegal.

I would wear them under a skirt or pants if I'm out in public.

I don't find them that comfortable and I just wear them at the gym. I'm getting a little more used to them but the wedgie feeling is still there especially during squats (Ouch!).

I'm not a fan of thongs, I usually wear bikini style panties. If I'm feeling naughty I just won't wear any at all.
