Girls, why is your gender so susceptible to religion?

So I'm on this site called SoSuave. On paper, it's a forum for men to discuss their perspectives on the "male experience," if you will, giving each other advice on women and so on.

In practice, it's a bunch of fucking twats spouting off about "traditional values," regurgitating what their fathers told them, and reminiscing about a time period they didn't even exist in all while sucking each other off for doing so.

Honestly I don't even know why I'm still there.

But there's one thing that's often said in these circles that I weirdly find myself agreeing with, and it's that women are very very VERY susceptible to the influence of religious dogma.

Think about it. Religious men don't really care about if the woman they're with is as devoted as him. Long as she behaves how she's supposed to (and is sufficiently hot), he doesn't care.

With religious women, it's all like:

"Myehh I need to find someone with the same vALuEs."

"Myehh he comes home drunk and beats me and the kids at least three times a day but it doesn't matter because he's gOD-fEaRiNg."

There's a very clear distinction and I'm wondering why that is.
