Why do women tolerate abusive relationships?

Is there something wrong with me or with women as to why I can tell the difference between a fist to the head being wrong to a woman getting slapped by her boy friend and her being okay with it... I can tell the difference but some women I am convinced that there is something wrong with these girls, like in their brains they are sick mentally. Love oh YEAH the word that kills all women who would do anything for their man even protect them when they are confronted about the abuse.

Some women have extremely low self-esteem and believe they're not worthy of anything good, so they accept abuse. They don't want to be alone, so to them, bad love is better than no love at all. What they don't realize is that "bad love" isn't love in the first place.

Low self esteem has a LOT to do with this. Women who suffer from extreme low self esteem think its the only type of guy they can attract.

I think it have to do with upbringing if their parents hit them then they’re used to it and find it normal
