I’ve seen this many times. A woman gets cheated on by her man, and the “other woman” is jealous of the original woman so wants to one up her by sleeping with her man.
Meanwhile though, why does the man cheat on his girl? Especially with a woman who is jealous of her so it’s definitely a “downgrade”?
Just because someone's jealous don't mean they are a downgrade, insecurity can happen to the most wealthy or attractive people, can happen to anyone.
So that's a moot point there.
But also jealously is hot. It's easy to be attracted to a possessive person which often a mistress is, makes you feel more craved for.
The mistress gets jealous, because the wife is always with him and around him. The mistress just gets a few hour most likely and half that time she is on her back in bed. Most guys cheat because they aren't getting the sex at home. Marriage gets hard especially with kids, and becomes a 2nd job sometime.

I've never cheated and I don't personally know any men who have. But I've been cheated on, my mother cheated on my father and my brother's wife cheated in him.
Despite the persistent myth, men cheat for the same reason women do, and at your age women actually cheat more than men.
Being jealous does not mean she’s a downgrade. Maybe she’s not jealous of her, maybe she hates her. As for why he cheats, there’s a million possible reasons.
