Girls only: is leaving without saying goodbye to someone I once thought was my friend OK?

We got close quickly, went on many trips together, had instant chemistry as friends, laughed a lot. But slowly I noticed she was okay with certain people treating me badly whether it was covert bullying, outright racism or injustified accusations because someone decided to target me. I didn't make much of it just thought she had the right to not get involved and be friends with whoever she wants. It started with a girl who made it her mission to target me even though I did absolutely nothing to her but come from a place she deemed an enemy to her family background. Long story short, the moment I stood up for myself, and showed how upset I was, in a much nicer way than I've been treated, she decided to act passive aggressive towards me, avoid me and get upset for her new friends whom she just started working with. She was not upset for me once, she didn't have a problem with any of them once up until this point. She only had a problem with me when I finally stood up for myself. I believe it had to do with peer pressure because they had just become her new co-workers. Anyway I noticed her behaviour towards me, lack of understanding, lack of support, lack of caring despite me showing her support when she was leading a poor guy on and playing victim despite not telling him she was done with him. I supported her by being there for her and reminding her over and over that she needs to tell him. I didn't judge her but I definitely told her it's not okay that he looks like an idiot among their mutual friends. After everything I ended my friendship with her, on social media and in real life. I stopped responding to her messages. There was a few early red flags where she would go tell our mutual friends about something that happened with me and for entertainment indirectly paint me in a bad light, for laughter. I'm leaving the country now and she has tried to reach out to say goodbye. I ignored her because I feel like she is fake and I don't see the point. Thoughts?
