Girl from work started crying in front of me at a moment I couldn't really be there for her, did I act correctly?

She was having an awful day, I even told her she should go home, and at one point during our lunch break I went outside to talk to come clients and she went outside too.

As my clients went ahead I stayed back a second to ask her if she's doing better and she started to cry and tell me she is "in so much pain". It looked like she had been holding it in for a while and, in hindsight, I would have loved to stay with her and support her but I had to take care of these clients and she knew it. I talked to her for like a minute, made sure she was in a good place, put my hand on her back and told her to let me know if she needed anything and then had to go about my business

We talked normally later, she even asked me for a ride home, but I can't help but think I should have done more for her, especially since I like her and we've been very close lately, mostly on her part, showing my her vulnerable side, but this time it wasn't at the best possible moment and I couldn't really be there for her. She's always hovering around me and I certainly don't want that to change because I wasn't there for her when she needed me

Anyway, could I have done anything different? Should I do something today?
