I'm best friends with my ex, but she originally broke up with me because I became weak and needy and just a clingy, insecure, feminine mess of a man.

We have stayed close and still hang out, but she told me about a month ago that she lost feelings for me and isn't going to wait on or date a man she doesn't feel a spark with so has began to see other people which is fine.

I've got my shit and confidence together these days and we get along a lot better. She still hasn't got feelings for me enough in that sense, however I make her laugh all the time, she teases me again, I taunt her and have stopped being a pushover or a door mat and have began to put her in her place in a sense when she steps out of line. She has began asking me to hang out now and we're becoming a lot closer than ever before.

My question is, she knows how I feel and what I want, so if I ask yet again I'll just go back to square one. So I was wondering, if things begin to improve and she begins to respect me again and see me as the man she was once obsessed with, will she let me know or make advances in that direction? I just want to know if a woman will make the move if she feels she wants to again

The best thing you can do is date. You will demonstrate a learned change as you,"got my shit and confidence together", went out and conquered. She will be wondering if she messed up etc. She will Test you and see if you crumble and that if she can still monopolize your attention or get that wussy in love reaction.

Don NOT be on everyone's radar as a secret "love crush" for this woman. You will never get a date. In fact, you are going to have to stop making efforts towards her. Let her be and see if she reaches out. You should have a Social Media devoid of her presence as this tells her and potential that you have moved on.
