Why is it so easy for a woman to have feelings for a taken man but not vice versa?

It's so easy for a woman to like and get involved with a man who is in a relationship / married... sometimes they're even okay with being a side piece and just share their guy with another woman... And obviously men aren't like that... Not even close... I'm wondering why is that exactly? Is it because men are naturally territorial and have a big sense of themselves? Or is it just easier for a woman to be like that because women aren't as threatening as men.. You know, most women even like it when their guy attracts a lot of other women.. Women kinda like their guy to be validated by other women...

Like what the other guy said, woman are interested in a taken man because he has something that made his girlfriend/wife fall for him. The more attention a man gets from women the higher his status. Might be explained through biology since men want to spread their seeds and women just look for the best possible mate.

Well it's like you said I think some women want to know if a guy has something to offer and the ultimate validation for a man is women. If a guy has women that want him then their must be some reason.
