If women would learn that there is so much more to life and being a woman than just getting compliments or lack thereof, they would have such an easier time moving about, and would understand how to really value themselves beyond whether or not someone gives praise to their looks or not.

Both statements can be put into one complete statement, When you regularly compliment a girl, she isn't grateful but the moment you stop, she'll be fishing for them, either from you or someone else.

Women and men are different. Men seek validation from themselves based on what other people approve of, deciding themselves if they are worthwhile or not. Women seek validation from others, need to be told they are pretty/attractive by someone else.
