I don't understand her behaviour, does she really like me?

So about 2-3 months ago, I started noticing that a girl in my class looked a lot at me. I started giving back glances at her and slowly started finding her attractive. To this day, I can say that I have a crush on her.

I'm quite shy, so I've still not talked to her in person, and I'm pretty sure that she is also shy, as she doesn't talk much in class outside her social circle. Some days I started noticing that she didn't look very at me very often, and if she did, they were extremely short glances. But I repeat, that only happened some days.

Last week, I sent her a message by google chat (as everyone in the high school has an email provided by the school). But the problem comes when, apparently, she hadn't read it/ignored it.

So today I decided to email her tracked with a Google extension that allowed me to know if she clicked on it. I remember that the subject of the email was: "open this". She opened her laptop in class, and I'm not sure, but I think she looked at me briefly. No notification arrived. (The plugin works correctly, I previously tested it).

So what is going on with her? I guess if she wouldn't like me, she would have opened the email. It doesn't make much sense.

P. D. : In two weeks approximately my whole course is going on a trip that will last a whole week, I guess I can try something?

I get being shy and how it can be uncomfortable to approach a woman you're attracted to. Just walk up to her the next time you see her at school and say: Would you be interested in going on a date? If she brings up the chat or email just say you're shy and were trying to figure out a way to approach her. Just be honest and upfront.

I would not mention the extension unless she asks about. And would not recommend using that in the future.

If she's not interested don't waste your time find another one to ask out in person. Have a simple plan for a date like going and getting ice cream. Movies are not that great because you can't talk very much and find out if you both like the same things.

She reminds me of myself in high school, lol! I would say she probably finds you interesting or cute. The problem is y'all are both shy! Either you talk to her, or she will talk to you. It won't work if both of y'all don't talk. You can approach her one day and hail her with a quick "hey _______" or find an excuse to talk to her. Like for example, ask her if she understood the assignment or ask her to borrow notes. With this, you are warming her up and warming yourself up to be more comfortable. If she doesn't speak to you after that initially, then back off a bit. You don't want to scare her, but you also don't want her to forget about you. So it's hard. Remember to be yourself and it's okay if you are nervous. You got this!!

Talk to her in person or at least in the phone do that you can judge interest in a meaningful way.

The man-up and most impressive way to handle this is to speak on phone 2 times and third time face-face ask her on a date. You may have lost this edge already given the time this has lagged.
