I have been in contact with a guy in his 30s (I'm in my early 20s) since a few months and he has been calling me every day whille on his way to work.
We live in different countries and have 7 to 8hrs time difference which is why I often stayed up late just to be able to talk to him. Now, there is this thing where I am confused about whether he actually likes me like he says. His behaviour and words differ from time to time.
While on his way to work he often calls me but there are often long breaks in which I ask something and he doesn't even reply because he's watching something or replying to messages. then ever since he had his accident he calls me at night only to fall asleep to my voice without much conversation. Now that I am writing this I am thinking that it's because I am his safe space, but I could be wrong and I want someone else's view on this and after a long day without even a message from him I would love to talk to him a bit more even tho I understand that he must be tired because of the medicine they feed him in the hospital.
I really do like him and I trust him the most I have ever trusted someone but I am just too afraid of heartbreak and I don't know his recent behaviour just made me overthink or maybe I am just too young in the end and should learn to control my feelings more.
