Why do I regret rejecting people after It’s late?

I was walking down the street when someone followed me and asked my name and introduced himself and walked by my side, he didn’t look like a creep, but I felt a bit creeped out, he was vhandsome, but I am very careful about getting to knowing new people, I was listening to music in the airpods and didn’t switch it off. Told him, sorry I am busy, he was nice though. He asked me a couple more questions and I answer out of politeness, then I told him, sorry I need to hurry up and go home, bye.

He said “alright”, smiled and turned back, I looked back to see if he followed and when I took a good look of him, he was actually very muscular and athletic and I regretted a little bit but it was already late, he went the other way.

I just did that because I was wearing a cap and glasses, didn’t really feel in the mood of talking to anyone, and didn’t even look at him when he was walking next to me as I was in hurry to go home soon. He might have thought I am very rude.

Yeah, tell me about it. As a man woman with headphones screams of being self-absorbed. These are the types that don't say thank you when you hold the door for them. The all most intentionally seem to avoid making eye contact with you on purpose. They seem to only wear the headphones to discourage men from trying to speak to them. Then act like they can't find any good men, and all men want is sex.

This false of course. But when act this way and treat men this way, you honestly are offering them nothing more than a small chance for sex... and literally nothing else. Then they wonder why men treat them the way they do, or why they can only attract the wrong types of men. Because can't even give them the time of day to have a decent conversation. Like they got to earn the privilege somehow of being worthy enough to even try to talk to you.

I promise you this, some of the best men in your life are passing you on the street every day, and you aren't even noticing them.

But none of this what you asked... and everything above is not aimed at you specifically or personally. Just a generalization of my personal experiences with woman in general. As far as to you personally I have no idea why you do this.

Nope, I changed my mind. I am just very impulsive and post all my thoughts here. I don’t regret anything haha, I just posted it 3 minutes after that encounter.

Even if I gave him my number, knowing myself I’d just flirt here and there and would probably get bored in 2 days.

You made the right choice for the wrong reason. That is creepy to do what he did, but you almost gave him a pass because you found him attractive. You felt slight regret because you thought he looked good, but there are serial killers that operate in the same manner so maybe dodged a bullet.

He didn’t follow me in the creepy, scary way, he actually ran after me when he saw me, I thought he was just running somewhere until he didn’t stop next to me.

You put a lot of stock in people's looks based on your posts as well as your ex. Is it possible you aren't letting go of your ex and that's possibly why you're rejecting people?

And your update answers why you might have just rejected him in that moment as well. You weren't in the mood to engage. That's actually normal.

I am guilty as charged though. I have posted lots of questions about the ex fiance of mine who broke up with me 9 months ago. I was in the process of recovery though and I am almost healed. I understand what he is saying and he might be partially right.
