Why would a girl who has a boyfriend show interest in me?

i found out that she has a boyfriend from another guy, though her boyfriend is “not serious”.

You don’t want to be labeled as an untrustworthy person because you helped someone cheat. Also she’s probably a cheater and trust me you do not want to be close to someone who has no regard for peoples feelings. However this only applies if she IS in a steady relationship and it’s not open or casual.

If she is in a steady relationship I would strongly advise you to tell her boyfriend what’s going on. Better to tell him the truth then him proposing to her years later without ever finding out how dishonest she truly is.
