Why do I get intimidated by hot guys when I am also hot?

Why do I tend to get really intimidated by attractive men when I am also considered "hot" and usually on the "same level" as them?

Sorry if this sounds boastful, but I don't know why I'm considered an attractive girl, yet I still get really intimidated and nervous around an attractive guy. I stutter and stammer, and say stupid things. I can't talk to them and actively avoid them. I don't consider myself lower than them on the looks scale, but I still act like an idiot.

Can anyone help me explain why I'm like this? I can't talk to guys I like because of this and I'm really awkward around them. I can only talk to guys I don't like.

Because you get your self-worth from your looks. Who gives a crap if a guy is hot. He's still just a person. Who cares if ur considered hot you're still a person. If he doesn't like your personality then f*k him. Lmao

You get your confidence based on how you look instead of who you are so when someone else is attractive it mitigates your source of confidence.
