Why do some females hate men who don't talk to them?

Firstly , I am not generalizing all women out there
I am asking this based on a recent incident in my workplace
There's this guy who just likes to alone and away from people in general and talks very less and only when neccesary to any of us
The other day , when we were just having a group chat after work , the girls (who work here) said that he never comes to them, so he is probably a Male Chauvanist !
