Two girls are fighting over me (and possibly other issues). One of the girls knows my gay friend. Recently the gay friend was starting to get mad, began telling me where and when im allowed to go out in town, and was saying many positive things about the girl. Do you think he's being manipulated?

So let me get this right. You have a friend that tells you what you are allowed to do? You think he is being manipulated yet he is telling you when you can go out? I don't get this entire situation you are describing. What does the friend have to do with the two girls. The fact they are fighting over you doesn't seem to have anything to do with the rest of the question. I am really confused. Maybe you can give a better explanation. I have no idea why you would think he is being manipulated just because he said positive things about the girl. Just doesn't make sense to me.

It seems like you need better friends in general. If someone is being controlling they don’t have a right to control you unless you give it to them.
