Girl seems to like me but sometimes takes forever to respond?

So this is a girl I work with actually. I'm gonna give the reasons why I think she likes me and I just need opinions.

When she asked for my snapchat a few months ago I forgot to add her back for about 3 hours and the next day my other coworker (who was like her gay best friend) told me that she was butthurt that I didn't add her back and called him to tell him about it

When we're at work together we talk all the time and tease each other constantly. For example, I have a slight southern accent and sometimes she'll mock it when I say something. She also constantly orbits me while I'm there too, if I go to the back room she follows me, if I'm up front she'll follow me there too. Hell, yesterday I was in the back room, walked towards the front a few steps and turned around to stay in the back room and sure enough she also made steps to the front and backtracked when she saw I was staying in the back. She also laughs at literally everything I say or do, sometimes way too hard. She's at the point where we'll make eye contact and she'll start laughing (maybe I'm just funny lookin)

Outside of work, she also displays signs of interest. Last week she went out three times, twice to a bar and once to a club all with her friends. All three times resulted in her drunk texting me out of the blue. One of the three times was after I had been left on opened (so it wasn't a response) and another time she texted me saying she wanted food (the text was so poorly misspelled that I wasn't able to decipher what she was asking till the next morning). She's also started copying the way I text and using some of my slang.

This is all great but sometimes she'll take forever to respond to me, she's pretty dry when she's busy which makes sense but like today she hasn't responded in over a day and this is the third time in a month she's taken this long.

I'm 99% sure I'm an idiot who's overthinking as I often do but I want some opinions

I need to clarify something, I said this was the third time she's not responded in 24 hours "in a month"

We have only been actively texting eachother for about three weeks, so it isn't some big change in behavior it's just odd to me

It sounds like she is probably losing interest. She might be talking to another guy, or multiple guys, and was all along. But now she's slacking off more because there must be interest lost. If someone seriously likes you and wants to talk, they will stay consistently connected.

If I were you I wouldn't even try to reach out to her again. Like I said, if someone really likes you and wants to stay connected, they will do it without you needing to remind them. If she cares, she'll text. But honestly I wouldn't really try to keep talking to a girl who takes 3 weeks to respond. Just not worth it to me.

No no no she hasn't ever taken three weeks to respond. Im saying 3 weeks is the amount of time we've been texting eachother. There have just been three instances in that time where i've been on delivered for 24 hours lol mb

Well not exactly. I met a girl in my last year of school and we messaged on and off for over 3 years. It was almost always me starting the conversations and her ending them. She always seemed to lose interest after a week of messaging and eventually, we contacted each other less and less regularly until it went dead for a year. Then randomly she reached out to me one day, we went on to message every day for 4 months but every time I tried to progress things she'd always pull back. Given our history, I didn't feel confident making a bold move on her and just kept her as a friend. Then one of her friends informed me that she talks about me the whole time and is literally obsessed with me. I confronted her about it, she said it was true, I asked her if she wanted to be my girlfriend, and 3 weeks later she moved in with me. We've been going on strong together ever since.

Yes you're overthinking, because you apparently haven't asked her out yet. 90% of what you described... it never should have gone that far without you asking her out. If you haven't already, you're about to friendzone yourself.

Well this behavior with not responding isn't recent like I made it seem. She's done it three times "in a month" but a month is how long we've been actively texting. The first time she did it was three days into us texting. I'd make a move but I'm trying to be careful with her being a coworker and all

Are you in a job that matters or you selling jeans at the mall? Because you can find other stores/malls. I've never "actively texted" anyone a month without going out. A week maybe. Usually not even that. She may not understand if you're into her or not since you're kinda dragging ass on it.

Well I'm in college so it's just pizza delivery lol but it's a great job and everyone I work with is great.

How much she replies is a direct indicator of how much of a priority you are. Try to create some desire by staying away
