Don't the two things contradict each other? Because if you want to have fun, you're not that mature. And only immature people don't take life seriously.

What Girls Said
Those two circumstances would be considered mutually inclusive of one another, as it is in fact possible to 'have fun' & 'be mature' at the same time.

Contradictory information because as we all know a lot of men are deep thinkers. I can't tell you how many times a girl has told me. It's not that deep. Which leads me to believe that a lot of women aren't capable of deep thought, but they believe that they're much more mature than men.
And if the metric that they're using to describe that they're more mature than men is that men don't take life seriously. But that isn't true if girl say they just want to have fun.
All I'm saying is that the stuff that we believe about men and women is most likely not true in general.
You're going to have to do better than that. Just saying it's contradictory doesn't make it so. My point still stands. Having fun =/= not being mature and vice versa.
Also, you will need to prove both points at to 'we all know' men to be deep thinkers and women being incapable of deep thought.
As for being told it's not that deep, that statement alone means nothing without context. Because she's absolutely right that it isn't that deep when you throw a temper tantrum because your team blew a 14pt, fourth quarter lead.
Now, a case can be made that if 'men don't take life seriously' that could be a sign of immaturity. However, that is also something that would require further context. But, your post attempted to equate having fun with being not so mature. It said nothing of taking life seriously.
All I'm saying is that you need better, more specific examples to illustrate that the stuff that we believe about men and women is most likely not true in general.
It's not a hard and fast rule, but men do possess some more grey matter in their brains, which is what you need for focus and women's brains are more hard for anxiety and worrying. So based off that fact alone. You can conclude that men aren't more or less mature than women.
And the context that you chose is interesting because women aren't even into sports as deeply as men are, so that proves my point right there. That we can take something as insignificant as sports and analyzing to the point where we can give you every stat and blood type of every player. And what I was referring to was like when guys ask each other hypothetical questions. Like would you date an ugly billionaire? Or could God make a rock so heavy that he himself couldn't lift it.
Men seem to live in the hypothetical and love to solve problems. But women would look at questions like those as ridiculous and conclude that man are immature. But it's a defense mechanism because they're not capable of these deep thought experiments. Albert Einstein didn't even have the technology we have today. Every conclusion he made was a thought experiment.
We'll agree to disagree, as much of your arguments continue to be based in conjecture and assumption.
Also, what I can only classify as avoidance & redirection, you completely disregarded the point of my football reference and attempted to retrofit it into something else (my comment had nothing to do with statiscal analysis).
Anyway, this was kinda fun. Take care.
