Why is my Asian friend always rejected (Read "details" for more information about him)?

I have an East Asian friend (probably Japanese or Korean; I don't know tbh). He was rejected four times this month, so my boys and I are trying to help him out. Here's his stats based on the most objective analysis we have created:

• 6'3 tall
• quite the handsome devil
  • impeccable jawline
  • piercing eyes although they aren't blue
• well-built (athletic)
• smart
  • 1570 on the SAT; can you believe it?
• great personality
  • friendly
  • confident
  • has leadership

We REALLY want to help him. Why does he still get no girls at all?

One of the things that we came up with is that he's Asian and therefore looks unattractive (we live in a small town where he is the only nonwhite kid in school). However, we really don't want to end this off on such a hopeless note. After all, we've known each other in our friend group for 11 years. For reference, I am only 5'10 and semi-obese, but I still pull more girls than him. There is a girl, known to be the "ugly duckling".

Do we really just tell him that Asian guys are just inherently unattractive, or is there some other way we can sugarcoat it?

While people do tend to date within their own ethnic group I doubt that is the reason why. He might be lacking some quality that is making it harder for him. Could be personality/how he carries himself, hard to say without knowing him. Also does he only go for the prettiest girls? It’s okay if he does but that will make it harder too as there is a lot more competition. He might have to lower his expectations. Like go for a woman with an amazing personality etc but maybe she doesn’t have to have *insert physical quality here*. My friends brother is really attractive and seems smart until he talks too much but he only goes after women that are way above average when it comes to looks and he gets rejected all the time where he could still pull pretty girls if he just stopped going for tens

In terms of personality, I don't think he's aware of it, but he is a bit cold like microwaved ice cubes (not as empathetic as I believe the average human being is but still not psychopathic). And he doesn't only go for the attractive ones. One of the girls that rejected him is known as the ugly duckling in our school.

It really depends on what kind of girls he wants and what kind of relationship. If he is not one to date seriously, girls that want to will reject him. If he is desperate n go for many girls, some would reject him cause they wouldn't feel special, him gling from girl to girl. Race could be an issue but if he is tall and handsome unlikely it plays a big role except maybe prejudice. Girls could also find him intimidating or too good for them. Girls in general go for guys that they connect with and that is not that easy to find, so he has more chance going for girs that actually vibe and connect w him, so its possible he just haven't met a girl like that.

He asked the "ugly duckling" of our school and still go rejected. He thought they connected well, but she told him that she doesn't think of him in a romantic way. We also could see the slight flirting between them and the connection that you mention above.

Nope. Matter of fact: he asked the "ugly duckling" of our school who is like 200lbs heavy. He still got rejected.

The only thing I can imagine is his slightly cold personality. Not in a psychopathic way, but he is a bit less emotional than the average person.

Typically when that happens it's because there is some aspect that is off. I've had very attractive friends with great personality have little dating luck because they just weren't doing things quite right. Once they corrected that, things changed.
