When women ask me why I don't like social media, what's an equivalent boring thing for them, that I can tell them why they don't like it?

Girl: Do you have social media (instagram)?

Me: No, i don't use social media

Girl: What? Why?

Me: Because I don't like social media

Girl: But why don't you like social media?

Me: ...

And this is where YOU, the READER can help me with this question. I usually say something like this.

Me: I don't like being spied on.

Girl: But you don't have to post anything and you can use fake data

Me: It's not as good as not being on social media in the first place

Girl probably thinks I am a freak, a nutcase or a conspiracy theorist or hiding from something. I see it the same as being excluded from your peers only because they started vaping and you won't start vaping.

Anyhoo. I am thinking if I should respond with something different like.

Me: Do you like wrenches? How about air pumps? Or device schematics?

Except it's not like I am actually liking wrenches, air pumps or device schematics. It's gotta be something, that the girl will find as boring as I find social media to be.

So girls, what's something so boring, that almost makes you want to cry out of boredom but men enjoy it? Is it video games? That's hardly gonna work. Plenty of girls play video games such as Dead by Daylight and so do I.
