Friend is the nicest towards me when she's not pissed and the coldest to me when she is?

I have a friend who's a girl. When she doesn't have any problems going on, she's the kindest/nicest and I'm her favourite from all of her other friends and she's very flirty. But when she has personal issues (on her period for example) she's quite cold to me and not talkative, and only towards me, not towards her other friends. Why?

Dude, chicks can be super moody sometimes, especially when they're on their period. I wouldn't take it too personal when she's in a bad mood and not so friendly. A few things could be happening:

- Girls just tend to be more emotional at those times. Little things irritate them more. Probably has nothing to do with you really.

- She might see you as someone she's comfortable enough with to not have to put on a happy face around. With other friends she keeps it light.

- There could be an element of pushing people away a bit when she's feeling off cause she doesn't wanna bring others down. Harsher with you cause you're close enough she knows you'll stick around.

- Hormones are crazy! Mess with their heads in ways we'll never understand lol.

My advice - don't take it personal. Roll with the mood swings and give her space when she's snappy. She'll come back around when she's feeling better. And if she starts crap, just be chill and say "someone's pmsing"... that usually gets a laugh. She knows you're not scared off easy.
