Why are women always attracted to rebellious/bad boy types when there are decent men around?

Whenever I look around, I see gentlemanly, honest, and caring men who are either alone or relegated to the "friend" category. But wherever there's a careless, irresponsible, or "reckless" type, they're surrounded by women. What do you think is the real reason women are attracted to these men? Is it a search for excitement and action? Let's see if women can answer honestly, and men can answer based on their observations. Why do you think this is the case?

Yes, most women aren't smart or logical, they make decisions based on feelings. And feelings change.

Dont even waste time with such scrap. No man wants some std farmer as the mother of his children.

Work on yourself. And never give a crap about some random women, or chase them. Have self respect. Women especially hate dudes who value women, cause even they know that they dont have much of anything to offer to men.

So many faulty assumptions here. Bad boys is just an expression. They are not necessarily bad people. The self-proclaimed “nice” guys are some of the worst and most entitled people ever. Rebellious isn’t indecent and you’re not decent automatically just because you’re not one.

High testostorone, dominant behavior, fearless posture, and unpredictability. You might consciously reject the chav stereotype, but the underlying traits still work on a biological level

What do you mean it's not always or as many as people think? On paper nobody says i want a man who will hurt me but in practice that's not the case. Subconsciously, that unattainability, that ambition to change him and the unpredictable excitement the man provides are very attractive. While the honesty and clarity offered by the gentlemanly man are considered boring, the indifference of the rebellious man is perceived as charisma. So its not something that can be dismissed with a simple not always it's a very basic psychological reality.
