Why women are attracted, like and fall for bad boys, thugs and douchebags?

When I went to high school years ago, all the bullies that picked on me got the girls. I've had girls stolen from me by loser drug dealers/thugs. The rude and reckless guys are the ones who get laid and stuff like that. What is it that attracts women to the , jerks, and idiots?

I know I might end up offending some women here with this, but I feel like I need to get this out there. One thing before I start is that this DOES NOT encompass all women, but just a certain percentage of them, so hold off till the end before any SJW decides to pull out their pitchforks and cancel me. So here goes;

The reason why girls end up falling for bad boys and assholes is because they either think they're hot and sexy even when they might say to your face that they're repulsed by them, or because they feel like they can help "change" them for the better. Both of the reasons are stupid and nonsensical.

Why do they find them hot, you might ask? Blame the media and how they portray "bad boys". The bad boy in every rom-com or romantic teenage high school/college chick flick that girls love watching always has this bad boy love interest for the female lead who's this macho, popular and sometimes rich bad boy figure, sprinkled on with a bit of mystery for that added flair. This bad boy love interest isn't always really a bad guy but he seems to be and is secretly a misunderstood good guy in disguise who's usually got a troubled past - which is there to make the audience feel even more attracted to them. And this is where the other reason comes in; girls think if they try hard enough, they can make the bad boy turn over a new leaf, help him in overcoming his troubled past so that he can become one of the good guys again. Why don't they just get a good guy then? Why go through ALL the trouble? Because it feels rewarding to them and it's more exciting this way. They feel that if they help the guy "get better", he'll become the best boyfriend ever.

So what really happens? None of the above word vomit I typed above, that's for sure. Girls end up falling for the assholes, thinking they can change them, when in reality, he screws them over even worse, breaks their heart and damages their ego, and then leaves her to pick up the broken pieces of her heart, and moves onto the next delusional girl to repeat the process. I've seen it happen to so many girls so many times, it's actually painful and hurtful to witness, and I really feel sorry for them, because the sad thing is, these girls would be perfectly healthy individuals before but then, dedicate their whole lives to said asshole, refusing to give another guy a try.

Mystery... It is always about mystery. A little hidden past or a depth they can feel but can't define... If they can both figure you out and rule you easily then interest will fade. UNLESS you get very lucky...

Well to an extent, yes, but mysterious guys only interest a small percentage of women, not all of them. Most of them think if a guy's acting too mysterious or distanced, he's probably secretly a serial killer and/or a psychopath, or has a giant pole stuck up his ass, and as a guy who mostly keeps to himself, I can vouch for this myself.

They may find you interesting if you're mysterious, yes, but in the end, they'll still end up falling for the bad boy trope more often than not
