Shy girls: do you tend to act tough/sarcastic/indifferent towards a guy you like?

There's this girl who does that to me. She is friendly to everybody but with me she acts weird lol. We get along and talk everyday, its just a different kind of interaction (like she would laugh at other people's jokes but with me she makes fun of me or is all sarcastic) does this ring any bells?

Oh yeah if we think your cute and we are shy... at first we tend to either me a little tsarcastic. Wee become very silly. Or we talk a lot . Because we act like this is we don't want the guy to know that we like them. Same thing happened to me I was very talkive with

My friend and oh I did not care eatting in front of him. Once I had frosting on top of my lip and I didn't realize it he told me and I was like oh and cleaned it off. But once the guy showed and make the first mood I was a little shy and a little surprised. Oh boy now I wish I never had talk to him. Or at least blow him off,but I didn't. He played me bad. He was leading me on like their was no tommorw.

Yup. Standard mode of operation: If you're feeling shy/fearful around someone, turn the situation around and get that armor on. It's sort of a defense mechanism if you were shy in grade school and people made fun of that. You can either let them walk all over you in the playground or you can learn to fight back. "Fighting Back" ultimately takes on a different form as you get older and mutates to verbal sparing...

Don't take it. Call her on her bs and ask her out.

As a former shy girl, yeah. She's doing it because she doesn't want to get hurt or is trying to tease you. I still act sarcastic around guys I'm into sometimes out of habit.

can't really say. but if she's being different with you, then she does feel differently towards you than others. but that's hard to say if it's because she likes you or because she doesn't.
