I love clingy guys but he's not clingy enough!

He's my boyfriend, and I love when guys are clingy, but he's the OPPOSITE of clingy.

I want him to just come to my house when I'm not expecting it, to text me all the time, to make plans with me every day or every other day.

I know that he really likes me and loves being with me and he's happy when he's with me, but he's just not clingy.

What do I do!

If he's not giving you what you need ask for it. If he can't give it to you then end the relationship.

I'll tell you what I told my teenage daughter. If you know you need something in a relationship and it's something that's essential and important for you to feel secure and happy in a relationship and the person cant/wont give it to you then you need to move on because they are not going to change that's how they are in a relationship and someone out there will like that he's standoffish and that is the person who he should be with... not someone who needs their time.

you can let him know that it's important to you and it's possible that maybe he's being standoffish because he doesn't want to seem clingy(cause guys are told that's bad and women don't like it or their buddies tell them it's gay or lame or whatever at your age) and if that's the case and he wants to be that way anyway and was waiting for your word? he'll act like his real self and that will be what you need but if he just makes the effort to make you happy? it won't last and he'll go right back to his normal way of being in a relationship and then you'll know it's not going to work.

guys are not psychics. we can't read minds. I'm gonna to assume you and whatever boy you like are both around the same age. it is like impossible for guys to know what girls like cuzz every girl is different in personality.

if you have some fetish /inclination, you should just tell him and see if he's willing to satisfy it. or you can keep playing guessing game and guess each other to the point of frustration. the choice is yours. have a nice day! :P

Aww that's cute! Dating can be confusing, some people like clingers, others see clingers as insecurity.

Have you told him what you want? If you have, has he dismissed or scoffed at your request? Talk to him at least. Just be prepared he cannot give you what you want. If he is a great boyfriend in every other way, just accept that as part of his character.

good question, it's usually the opposite people want. You might try inviting him over more often, make an excuse, like, that he needs to fix something, guys like doing that for girls. Tell him your feelings, you want to see him more. I don't know, I never had to ask someone to be MORE clingy.
