Body language and sexual tension, please help.

There's this guy who's not really my type and when I look at him I can actually identify parts of his body that I dislike. I don't even think he's actually very attractive objectively.

However, when I sit near him or if our bodies are very close, I just feel this really STRONG AND HOT sensation inside me. It's kinda like a heat wave coming to me from him, and I just have to pretend I'm not feeling it and hope he's not feeling what I'm feeling!

Hope I've explained it well enough.

I assume it's my body telling me that I'm attracted to him, but my question is: how's it possible for me to also rationalize that he's not my type?

there are so many factores that may cause you to feel so. first thing is that you're paying too much attention to this guy and it causes your body to react. when you say " when I look at him I can actually identify parts of his body that I dislike " that means you do study his body so that's no wonder you feel sexual tension around him. the other factors can affect this too. like the smell , atmospher , perfume he wears and so many other things. and in addition I've realized a fact by experience, when a guy(or a girl) feels a strong attraction to a girl somehow the girl feels that and get aware of it and can't ignore the guy so easily. maybe it's so about you two ;)

i also dated girls that where for sure not my type and I was attracted by them. for you, the girls, attraction has even less to do with the look. if he's confident and strong, he can look like danny de vito and it's ok.
