I don't have a single picture of myself. Is this weird?

I was recently thinking of posting a photo of myself in the "would you date me" section of GirlsaskGuys and realized I don't have a picture of myself. I didn't want to just take a self pic, I find them boring/uninteresting. This shocking moment was confirmed after one hour of looking in my photos, my phone, Facebook and friends photo's. I don't have a single photo of myself, an no one else has a photo of me either. Not one... I found this really disturbing, so much so that I posted this question to see if it's as weird as I think it is or if I'm not the only one and this is actually normal for some people.

I assume your parents have pictures of you as a baby at least.

Not having any pictures of yourself alone is surprising to me. It would be easy to believe if you never owned a camera for whatever reason, but I'm sure you got one. Take a friend or your family out someplace good for taking interesting pictures. Somewhere scenic. And have your buddy take some single shots of you. It's simple. No need for an advanced photographer. Just know the basics.

Me neither. I only have pictures for my driver's license and other official stuff, but I always ALWAYS had to take a new one because I never have any on me. I don't have pictures of myself.

I also don't have a proper portrait on Facebook either. I don't think I'm photogenic, and I'm not a photographer, nor hang out with people who enjoy snapping pictures either.

So no pictures lol.

i was thinking normal, until you said your friends don't either. are you a photophobe? or a photographer(professional or otherwise)? do you remember the last time you were in a photo? I can't stand being in pictures myself, but I like taking them. mostly of nature. so I don't have many self pics either. but my friends have pics of me, when they can sneak them in.

Well I never take photo's of just myself because like I said, that seems really boring. But I don't know why my friends don't have any photo's of me. I don't avoid them or anything, I just seems that I'm never around when they take pictures of things? I don't really know. the last photo I remember seeing myself in was over 4 years ago and that was with my family. With friends, I'm not taking them so I don't know when the last time was, They say they have none and no one posts them.

my friends love to take pics. sometimes they do it just to annony me. I usually only take self pics for before/after situations, like at the hair salon. so if you aren't around photo people and aren't a photo person yourself, I guess it would be normal to not have pics of yourself.

went hiking the 2 weeks ago with a group of people and went to a ball game this week and a Peruvian restaurant and yep, I still don't have a single pick of myself.

i do have regular pics but I personally don't feel like people need to know what I look like in real life.

The human animal has a great fascination with photos.

Scientists are currently trying to understand why.

Since this is atypical from the human animals behavior, most will find it strange.

I don't so much pictures of myself as much as I mind everyone who takes pictures uploads them on Facebook / Twitter.

Those people I avoid like the plague when their cameras are out.
